Becoming a Clinical Study Participant

Are you interested in becoming a clinical study participant but want to know more about what is involved throughout the process? Dallas Clinical Research is enrolling for a number of clinical trials and studies, and you may be the perfect fit for one of them. Keep reading to learn more about what is involved throughout the clinical study process and how you can sign up as a participant and get prequalified.

Is It Easy to Become a Clinical Study Participant?

Participants are the most important aspect of the clinical study process. Because of this, we have ensured that the process for you, the prospective participant, is as easy and simple as possible. There are no crazy hoops to jump through, no medical insurance required, and no proof of citizenship required.

The qualification process is a simple, three-step process:

  1. Let us know you’re interested! Simply click here to fill out a very short form with your contact information so that we can reach out to you.
  2. Get pre-qualified over the phone! A member of our clinic will contact you to conduct the initial screening call. We will also answer any questions you may have and explain the process in full, so you know exactly what to expect from that particular study.
  3. Meet with us in person! If you pre-qualify over the phone, you will be asked to make an appointment with us for an in-person meeting. This meeting will finalize the qualification process with a free medical exam and consultation. If you meet the guidelines, you will be asked to join the study.

What Happens After I Qualify?

After you qualify and are asked to become a participant, you will be placed in a group and monitored for safety and effectiveness. You will be required to attend in-person study appointments, the number and length of which vary from study to study. After the study is over, you may be asked to return for follow-up end-of-study appointments. That’s it!

Clinical trials are research studies that test a medical, surgical, or behavioral intervention in people. These trials are the primary way that researchers determine if a new form of treatment or prevention, such as a new drug, diet, or medical device (for example, a pacemaker), is safe and effective in people. Often, a clinical trial is designed to learn if a new treatment is more effective or has less harmful side effects than existing treatments.

What Do Participants Recieve?

As a participant in any of our studies, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Complimentary consultation and health exam
  • Complimentary lab reports that you get to keep
  • Complimentary study-related medicines made up of the most cutting-edge technology and research surrounding the study’s condition
  • Guaranteed compensation for your time and travel as a participant in the study
